Melissa Fulton is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida, and received her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Stetson University. Melissa has been practicing for the past seven years and has had the privilege to gain knowledge and experience from working in a residential treatment center, outpatient psychiatric hospital, and private practice setting. She has worked with patients struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, substance abuse and suicidal ideation. Melissa has a passion for working with children and adolescents and uses a non-judgmental, person-centered theoretical orientation to help the patient and family achieve their therapeutic goals. Melissa uses creative interventions such as expressive arts and play therapy, which helps to engage and encourage growth within her patients. When Melissa is not working she enjoys traveling, exploring museums, and taking her three sons to Walt Disney World.
